Kit-Markin Sponsorship

At Kit-Markin, we are proud of our local community and love to give back. Our team have volunteered for a number of different community organisations and events, and are happy to help build a better community in Cambridge.

St Peter's School

We are official 'Perry Pool Supporters' at St Peter's School, Cambridge, New Zealand.

The St Peter's Swimming Academy has produced a number of national titleholders at various age levels as well as New Zealand Representatives. We are proud to support this school and their young athletes succeed.

Cambridge Playcentre

After donating building labour to the Cambridge Playcentre as part of a Facebook promotion, Kit Markin Homes stepped up to help with a new roof.

General manager Josh Jennings explained that Kit Markin had run a Facebook promotion in September 2017 to find a community group in need of some free labour, and the playcentre's name kept cropping up. "We build some stuff on the playground and realised the needed more work done. The roof had holes and was leaking. Something had to be done."

A father of young children, Josh offered to donate building labour to replace the roof, saving the playcentre thousands of dollars.

"We flooded the site with men, adding up to around three days labour - about $5000 value."

Above All Scaffolding and Roofing Industries came to the party as well as the Cambridge Lions who stumped up with $3000 for the badly-needed new roof.

Playcentre members spent over a year fundraising for material, running a garage sale, three bake sales and selling beeswax wraps and other crafts to raise the necessary cash. With fundraising complete, the roof was finished in January just in time for the new playcentre year.

Janie Taylor said the playcentre was grateful to the Kit Markin Homes team, which worked overtime in 30+ temperatures to get the job done.

Cambridge Lifeskills

We're proud of our little town, and like to help out where we can, so we went under the hammer!

We auctioned off 2.5 hours of our time to help out Cambridge Lifeskills, with all proceeds going back to help this charity.

Habitat for Humanity

We are proud to announce that we are now supporting Habitat for Humanity!

We are committing to a 'build for a build' - this means that for every new build, we will contribute $3000 to build a home in Fiji, Samoa or the Philippines. After 10 builds, we will take a team overseas to build and manage a project.

We look forward to working with Nathan and the team from Habitat for Humanity!
